    Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve: This valve type is suitable for medium and low-pressure conditions. The valve stem axis is offset from the center of the disc and the valve body, allowing the disc to immediately detach from the seat upon opening, reducing wear between the disc and the seat. Its disadvantage is that it relies on the elastic deformation generated by the disc compressing the seat to achieve sealing. For high-temperature applications, metal hard seals are used; however, these cannot provide the necessary elastic compression, leading to significant leakage. Achieving zero leakage requires the use of a soft seal, which is not resistant to high temperatures. Triple Eccentric Butterfly Valve: This design introduces an additional offset, resulting in minimal friction between the valve disc and the seat during sealing. The sealing structure changes from position-sealing to torque-sealing, addressing the leakage problem associated with metal hard seals. It also meets the requirements for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. However, its disadvantage is the higher cost.
